Industry whispers suggest that the studio is looking to rein in costs and, by all accounts, they are opting for a mostly new cast in place of the familiar, moneymaking faces from the previous entries in the series. But rumor has it that some beloved past stars might be showing up, if you can believe the industry gossip.

With dinosaurs being what fantastical beasts are to Edwards, we can only imagine what relentless mayhem and primal carnage he’s ready to unleash.
The nostalgia-laden return of the franchise to its golden age is promised by the script—the work of David Koepp, who co-wrote the ingenious original and is behind some of the most successful period Jurassic films. Koepp’s involvement is promising; it makes the film sound as though it might just have a clever blueprint. But the connection between the franchise’s past greatness and what’s brewing for the film’s future is tenuous at best.
