The 21-year-old star of the soon-to-be-a-classic cult noir film Wednesday made an appearance at the festival promoting her latest project, which doubles as a highly anticipated sequel to a cult classic: Ortega and Ryder star together in the forthcoming Beetlejuice 2. And as seen in the red carpet images, Ortega is definitely in the same vein as her co-star.
The much-anticipated sequel to Tim Burton’s classic film is hitting the screens shortly, and once again, Winona Ryder plays the mother of her character’s love interest. But instead of dressing in the prim, granny-ish way we associate with the female parent, Ryder opted for a young, fresh, chic look at the film’s recent premiere. Jenna’s Beetlejuice is a little more refined, a little less raucous, maybe even a taste more demure, but it’s still evident that Ortega went as beloved ghost with the most for Halloween.
